General Payment Policy

1. For general garden maintenance services, payment is due after the work has been completed and will be accepted in British Pound Sterling only.

2. Payments can be made via the following options: bank transfer,
card payment (mobile card reader for debit & credit cards) or cash.

3. Payments are required to be made within one week of the work having been carried out. After one week, late fees will be applied at the rate of £10.00 per day.

4. In case a scheduled service provisioning is being made impossible to fulfill due to circumstances entirely within the customer's control, a call-out fee of £50.00 will be charged.

It is at the service provider's discretion whether the service will be rescheduled after such an event or not. Notwithstanding a rescheduling of the service provision, the call-out fee is non-refundable.

Examples for such circumstances may be, but are not limited to: inaccessibility of property at the time of service provisioning, unavailability or inaccessibility of secure public parking at or in the vicinity of the property.

Please be advised of the following notable exceptions to point no. 1 of the General Payment Policy:

Payment Policy Exceptions

1.
While the general payment terms are one week (as per section 3 of this payment policy), should the subsequent service provisioning be scheduled for less than seven days after any gardening service has been provided, the invoice for the previous service provisioning must be paid - in full - prior to the subsequent service being rendered. If not, the service provider will not carry out the subsequent or any future gardening services. Notwithstanding of that, the invoice for the previously carried out services must still be paid without any futher delay.

2. Advance payments are non-negotiably required for:

2.1.    Any charges exceeding one "Full Day" work commitment

2.2.   Any charges for work being carried out which requires the hire of specialised equipment

2.3.  Any charges billed to a person who is not the resident of the property where the works are being carried out (i.e. landlords, particularly when they do not reside in the vicinity)

3. Under exceptional, individual circumstances, advance payments may be requested. Examples for such circumstances may be, but are not limited to: previous payment delays exceeding one week, previous unreliable communication (e.g. quote provision without any response at all).

4. Alternative payment schedules can be agreed, in writing, when garden maintenance work is being carried out at the same property on a regular basis.
